Challenges
To modernize VMware without disruption, the client needed to overcome several infrastructure and security challenges, which includes:
- Ensuring public IP continuity and safe rollback despite BYOIP limitations and reliance on legacy DDoS protection
- Unifying a fragmented DNS architecture to support scalability and segmentation

Solution
To enable secure, scalable VMware with simplified management, Intuitive implemented a comprehensive migration approach that included:
- Assessing applications, systems, and network dependencies to inform migration strategy
- Preserving security and NAT configurations using ASAv AMI and virtualizing the Barracuda Email Gateway
- Enabling BYOIP and public IP continuity by integrating VMware Cloud with native AWS
- Unifying DNS resolution with Route 53 and strengthening DDoS protection using AWS WAF
